About Her
This was an incredibly challenging year, one which 'forced' me to re-evaluate life, the value of time and the quality of people that I surround myself with. I am a cancer survivor, I am also a single parent to an amazing kid but there is so much more to me than just these two labels!
I looked at some of my 'before' profile pics, with my original hair colour and length, and I'm different somehow, wiser, more positive and I value time more than anything... what matters are finding the beauty in everyday life, quality friendships and embracing life's challenges with the attitude that giving up, is not an option.
I decided to update my profile with who I am now, unfiltered, without the charm of a good photographer and no pigment in my hair... cancer is life changing, you decide who you end up being to the end.
Kindness, honesty, transparency and integrity is what my make-up is all about but I am more than that too, I am a Mom, a devout Christian, a caring friend and a lover of so much more than you can write in a few lines. I am funny, compassionate, serious, intuitive, loving and I can allow someone to see my vulnerabilities. I also have healthy boundaries and not willing to compromise my integrity for the sake of being loved.
I'm not desperate to find the 'happily ever after', I'm looking at connecting with people who would value and share my time, enjoy my company and value friendships.
